It's
Legal Everywhere Else
Industrial Hemp is currently legal to grow in more than 30 countries
including Canada, Germany, England, France, Spain, Australia,
New Zealand, the Russian Federation, China, Thailand, Hungary
and Romania.
Many US states
have passed legislation to grow, study or request changes in US
government policy on industrial hemp. Hawaii has not only passed
hemp legislation allowing for hemp crop trials but has actually
planted the first legal hemp crop since the 1950's. The Hawaii
Industrial Hemp Research Project was recently reauthorized and
research continues under the direction of Dr. Dave West.
Now
It Could Be Legal in the U.S. too
For the first time since the federal government began restricting
hemp farming in 1937, a federal bill has been introduced that
would remove prohibitions on the cultivation of non-psychoactive
industrial hemp.

Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2005. This is the first-ever Hemp
Bill to be introduced in Congress. Read
